PRAYER REQUEST LISTING

February 2012

  • Your prayers are felt each and every day in the prison and youth center. Our chaplains couldn’t do the work they do without the prayers of God’s faithful people. Thank you for taking the time to pray for our chaplains and the prisoners. Feel free to copy these requests and share them with others so more can join us in prayer.

  • PRAY FOR:

    • J. B., middle aged man in Lancaster County Prison (LCP) facing some serious charges. Pray that J. will be open to chaplain contacts and seek to find God’s forgiveness in his life.

    • N. L. , man at LCP waiting for sentencing on numerous charges. He has church friends who keep in contact. Pray that he will ask God for forgiveness and find truth for his life.

    • L. R., Young woman facing serious charges. Pray that a chaplain can contact her and share God’s love and healing for her hopeless life.

    • J. G. , Young man who was incarcerated for a short time at LCP and then moved to a PA state prison. Pray that his mentor will continue to visit with him and challenge him to fully follow God’s will for his life.

    • P.M. , Young man from Lancaster County finishing a 5 year sentence in PA State prison. P. is working on a home release plan. Pray that he can receive further assistance from a transitional aftercare program in the area.

Chaplains at Youth Intervention Center, Joel Bare, Katie Mininger and Marvin Reed as they daily make contacts and connections with juveniles. Pray that persons would attend various services and seek to know and follow God. Pray also that connections can be made with area churches and youth ministry programs when teens are released to their homes and communities.

    A promise from God:
"If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you" John 15:7
