 PRAYER REQUEST LISTING

March 2010

  • Your prayers are felt each and every day in the prison and youth center. Our chaplains couldn’t do the work they do without the prayers of God’s faithful people. Thank you for taking the time to pray for our chaplains and the prisoners. Feel free to copy these requests and share them with others so more can join us in prayer.

    • PRAY FOR:

    • N.L., male recently returned to Lancaster County Prison (LCP). Had spent some time in aftercare but imprisoned again to wait sentencing.
       
    • M.S., middle age man in LCP for first time on serious charges. Has a Christian friend who cares about him and has spoken truth into his life. Pray that the chaplains can connect with him and continue to challenge him to follow God.
       
    • R.M., young man in LCP. Recently re-committed his life to Christ, but has many issues to deal with. Pray that Jesus will give him victory to live a new life.
       
    • B.H., a young man in prison for the first time. Pray that he’ll be open to the chaplains.
       
    • J.H. , a woman inmate at Lancaster County Prison (LCP). Pray that she will be helped by chaplain contacts and from others who care for her on the outside.
       
    • K.B. , continues to struggle with unforgiveness and defeat while at LCP. Pray that contacts with persons who care for him would help K to see his need of turning his life over to God.
       
    • Pastor Tom who regularly visits inmates in LCP. Recently he has received many requests from new inmates for his visits and ministry. Pray for strength and wisdom for his full schedule.
       
    • David Hain SFPM Chaplain, who will spend Feb. 27 to March 19 ministering in prisons in South Africa. One week Dave will be working at the Pollsmoor Prison, a maximum security prison in Cape Town, with over 7,000 inmates and a reputation of being one of the most dangerous prisons in the world.
