Announcing a NEW Auction Location

After years of steady growth for the prison ministry benefit auction, the Support for Prison Ministry Board is glad to announce plans to re-locate this year’s auction to the EPHRATA BUSINESS CENTER, 400 West Main Street, Ephrata, PA.

This spacious facility has a large auditorium for the main auction, a room for expanded food services, and space for extra auctioneers as needed — all inside a comfortable setting.

PLAN NOW TO ATTEND AND HELP US SPREAD THE WORD TO OTHERS.

Our 30th Annual Benefit Auction was held October 25 & 26, 2013

In 2013, our 30th annual benefit auction was held on October 25 and 26, 2013 at the Farmersville Auction Grounds. Collector items, beautiful quilts and wall hangings, toys, valuable gift certificates, great food, framed artwork, 3-D picture, hardware, tools and many more items were sold.

The auction goal was $100,000. We exceeded all expectations and had net receipts (after expenses) of $115,240 to be shared with 6 prison chaplain ministries and aftercare programs. At about 8 PM, during the Friday evening auction, Director Nelson Martin “interrupted” the selling to announce that everyone there was part of a history making event. The $2 million mark had just been passed since the auction began in a small way in 1983. There was time for clapping and giving of thanks.
